What is Microblading? Shading? Combination?
Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure in which a certified artist creates lines that mimic each individual’s natural hairs to fill in or to create brows shape.
Shading, also known as powdered brows. This technique will give client a brows look that is just like putting on eyebrow powders. This is more suitable for clients who have oily skin or who put on makeup daily.
Combination brows use both microblading and shading techniques. This technique is recommended to clients with minimal hair to achieve the most natural result.
How long do they last?
Microblading/shading brows usually last around 12~18 months. Whereas combination brows can usually last around 12~ 24 months, depending on each individual’s skin conditions and how the after care is done.

- Have diabetes and high blood pressure (will require doctor’s approval)
- Have skin irritations or skin is inflamed
- Have had cosmetic surgery or medical beauty procedures in the past month

How much time does it take?
The whole session, including consultation and actual procedure, takes approximately 2 hours.
Does it hurt? How long does it take to heal?
Numbing cream is applied, so you will experience minimal to no pain. Because of CK Brows’ unique technique, our clients can wash their faces and put on makeups the very next day.
After the session, brows are usually the darkest on the second and third day. If proper after care is done, scabs should come off little by little in powder form over the next few days. Depending on each individual’s metabolism and skin conditions, the scabbing process should finish around 7~10 days. However, touch ups are to be scheduled at least 6 weeks after the first session. Skin has to be completely healed and the pigments should settled into the skin before touch ups.
